• Fire Alarm System Linkage The fire safety linked tripod turnstile features seamless integration with mainstream fire alarm systems via a dedicated communication protocol. When the fire alarm system detects a fire hazard or triggers an alarm, it will send a real-time signal to the turnstile control module. The turnstile will then immediately activate its emergency response mode—unlocking all barriers without manual intervention, and synchronizing the status information to the building’s central security platform. This intelligent linkage eliminates response delays, ensuring that the evacuation channel is fully unobstructed at the first time of an emergency, and creating a safe and fast evacuation condition for personnel.
• Power-off Automatic Unlock Equipped with a built-in power-off protection mechanism, the turnstile is designed to prioritize personnel safety in the event of sudden power outages. Once the power supply is cut off due to fire, circuit failure or other emergencies, the turnstile’s mechanical lock will automatically release within 0.5 seconds, and the tripods will rotate freely to keep the passage fully open. Unlike traditional turnstiles that may lock up when power is off, this power-off unlock function avoids trapping personnel in dangerous areas, and ensures unimpeded evacuation routes regardless of power conditions.
• Emergency Free Passage Mode The turnstile is pre-programmed with an emergency free passage mode, which can be activated in two ways: automatic trigger by fire alarm linkage or manual activation by security personnel via the emergency button. In this mode, all access control verification functions (face recognition, card swiping, QR code scanning, etc.) will be temporarily suspended, and the passage will remain open around the clock. This design is especially suitable for scenarios with large-scale personnel evacuation, such as shopping malls, stadiums and factory workshops, effectively accelerating the evacuation speed and reducing the risk of stampede accidents.
